I’m Tanga, a professional Voice Artist from North London, UK. I use my voice to paint pictures, pose questions and project feeling. When I am not recording voice overs, I’m spending quality time with my family, crafting traditional Hip Hop Music, studying Philosophy or practicing Japanese Martial Arts.

Before voice over, I worked in schools and community settings delivering workshops, helping others connect with themselves and one another through Socratic dialogue and the creative arts. Throughout the years I’ve spent facilitating philosophical enquiries with young people, rapping on stage or refining my spirit in the dojo, I’ve come to learn that in every situation the voice is a powerful tool. It’s our most compelling, intimate, and in my opinion, deepest form of communication. It’s through giving our words a voice that we convince one another of what’s important to us, we make ourselves heard and come to better understand ourselves.

In a world that is becoming ever more digitised and separate, it’s reassuring that we still value hearing our humanity expressed through the spoken word. The Voice Over Industry is a testimony to this. As a Voice artist I’ve been blessed with opportunities to lend my voice to global organisations like Google, Samsung, Unilever and Playstation to name a few, as well as smaller businesses, social institutions and individuals. I’m able to be of service by speaking life into their projects and collaborating with talented creative teams, the world over to produce impactful content.
